The Callistemon League

MS Australia appreciates the generosity of people who nominate the organisation as a beneficiary to their Estate or through participating in a Living Will. To nurture and sustain this relationship amongst our benefactors, the Callistemon League
was established.

The callistemon plant (or ‘bottlebrush’) is our emblem for three reasons:

  1. The callistemon plant is an Australian native shrub with a variety found in every state and territory of Australia.
  2. The colour of the flower itself is mainly red, which is also the colour to represent MS Australia’s face in the community.
  3. The structure of the flower is representative of the central nervous system with the filaments (like nerves) emerging from a central stem.

There is no cost to join the Callistemon League or to continue as a member. Your only commitment is that you have told us MS Australia is a named beneficiary in your Will, or you are a partner in a MS Australia Living Will.

Your participation in Callistemon League activities is absolutely voluntary and you are free to participate as much or as little as you wish. It is not a forum to discuss the amount of your bequest commitment to MS Australia.

For further information, please contact MS Australia in your state.
